@vik0day 4 of #10-days-in-public. today was the most if not the most unproductive day I've ever had. my kicad was slow (REALLY SLOW) on windows so i decided to switch to linux, but never really got to it so all i have are a bunch of documentation tabs open. also did a teeny bit of SAT practice. will actually work on the pcb sooner!!

Still getting hang of the process. A ton of post processing compared to FDM. This Eiffel Tower didn’t come out perfectly, I still need to dial in the settings.

My only decent PC died after 7 years today, so until I can afford a new one, this is my new setup (Steam Deck as a desktop).
Unfortunately I’ll have to live without a dual monitor setup (unless the deck itself counts but that’s only usable for Spotify & YouTube, not code docs cause the screen is so small)
And there’s no head phone jack on the dock I have, so for YouTube videos I’ll be enjoying the crisp Steam Deck speakers. However for Spotify, I connected an old Android phone to my speakers that I can remote control from the desktop app.
Ended up installing Fedora Silverblue over Steam OS so I can still develop still (#project-still). So far first day experience, browsing is smooth, Jetbrains IDEs run somewhat smooth, ironically the only thing the desktop Steam Deck sucks for is gaming because it’s only made to handle 720p, not 1080p. Other than that, I can make this work until I can get a new PC. Hoping to go for a framework.

More react. up until this point i only used the useState hook but i've started finding uses for the other ones too.

went through the frustrating and anxiety-inducing process of moving a bunch of stuff from random projects to a different VPS because i already screwed something up on the other one.
here's oracle cloud not saying this instance is always free like it did with the old one even tho I'm sure I stayed within the limits and hopefully it refreshes tomorrow and says that?? the billing for this stuff is more complicated than it should be

Learnt more about react hooks, i finally have a decent grasp so now I'm able to use external libraries, this makes using matterjs so much easier.
@Elliot0Going to leave for outernet soon, but first I have something to share. I built a CPU in Logisim, and it can read programs and execute them. Currently, in the video, it's calculating the Fibonacci numbers.@Peiprjs0I’m proud. (stardew valley)
