Okay day 17 so upon checking my answers from the past papers yesterday I realised my celestial geometry is really... really rusty. So I shall be working on that today. Busy day with exam after exam though: so I dont know how much physics I will be able to do... It's mainly what I can squeeze in between exams lol
Day... 15 EDIT: realised that it'sactually day 16 and I am crazy- Probably. Anyway, I finally got onto a USAAAO past paper:
Day 15 (already... aaah) - studying quantum, radiation and thermodynamics from Salvatti because I love this book it is so sweet and an actual goldmine for astro preparation! You can see the Maxwell Boltzmann distribution here yay

back to -1/12 after 10 years... last time bro put shame on the entire physics community with his proof that was barely, if even, legitimate... and yeah no idk he decided string theorists were the best people to do maths realting to infinity well there's a reason string theory went off the rails WHAT WERE YOU THNKING anyway after 10 years of controversy he's back and I somehow did not know till now so uh I am watching this 👍
Day... 13? I think? Honestly idek what I was doing today - I finished off nuclear but then that turned to quantum which ended up with me dying over orbital spin momentum and then that went to pi bonding then some convoluted form of orbital antibonding except they were talking about the physics so it was just a bit of a nightmare I never want to see the letter j again because AAAgh also someone pls explain why their notation is so weird - like v for frequency and J (or S) for angular momentum HUH anyway then since I was struggling with electron spin and sick of looking at h bar again and again I decided it would be fun to just do some electromagnetism again from that ISC textbook that I bought but barely even skimmed through so yeah here's a pic of that because I dont like electron spin angular momentum orbital stuff
okay I was out all day apart for like 10mins so uh I didnt do any physics BUT I did help some people out on PF while bored when travelling so we will count it lol
day 11 - I actually went to sleep already but realised I forgot to post!!! So I am awake now lol. Realised my nuclear was acc much worse than I thought so...
Day 10 (?) And I have no idea why but I was randomly compelled to test out my maths skills so uh yeah (okay, I just dont want to get back to quantum again)
Day 9 and unfortunately I have finished nuclear which means the time for revising quantum is here
. Probably not needed unless looking at cosmological stuff but it's good to keep in mind nonetheless
day 8 (the days are going so fast!) - I did some nuclear questions today, and also I needed to read and like summarise/explain this science paper for some work stuff ig
Okay day 7 so I spent like a bazillion hours on slack again so not much done, but I did get started on nuclear, and mark all my questions from before :-)))
Day 6, I didn't do much since I spent way too long on other projects and chatting on slack but the maths book is almost done yay
Day 5 and Im fixing my questionable maths skills with an ancient book
Day 4 and I'm still on gravity (including GPE, gfs etc) because I did not realise there were like 100 questions each with like 3 parts on average not to mention the written questions require like 2 paragraphs to explain lol. Also I hate integrating over the volumes of planets but THATS OKAY GRAVITY IS IMPORTANT MAYBE I SHOULD JUST BE HAPPY ITS NOT RELATIVITY IDK (this is a photo of a different notebook page to the one that I am on now just because its prettier - I am infact on question like 46 now)
Day 3 and we're grinding Newtonian gravity because who doesn't love it when F=GMm/r^2 meets integration
Day 2 and I'm doing my assigned work before my friend comes around to play video games haha

Starting this physics textbook on my ipad! (Haliday resnick krane, rereading it after 1 year lol) I need something to discipline me into making progress every day, so ima post on here my progress every day. for today, I got to chapter 4. page 78/1450 haha. Currently It's just talking about some basic vector algebra (cross product, dot product... the usual)

Chaotic day - went to go do a LEGO tournament... it was carnage. From the teacher's minibus getting a flat tyre to lego flying all over the place - I'd never seen anything like it. We didn't win but we came quite close i guess 😭
