After working on my project and the circuit connection and wondering why it was so hard to get the wires connected I watched a couple YouTube videos and realized that I wasn’t fraying the wires enough. Today was much of a learning day for me as I worked a lot on trying to connect the LED to my connecting wires. I’m getting a head ache from the fumes (lol) so I’m done for today. I’m glad I figured out what I did wrong so I can finish it tomorrow. My brother said he will print my 3D model tomorrow so hopefully that will be done soon! Here a photo of my mistake lol

Today, I set up recording for the camera!
Now, I have 6hr history of the camera.
I also got some displays out of old laptops. What should I do with them?

Testing the motors, but noticed that the gear is off centered so I will buy a motor shaft centering piece. This should center the gear and spin the wheels of the RC.

Today, I took a break from my project in person to go tour ORU at one of their Quest Days!
As part of my tour, I got to meet professors from their Computation and Mathematics department, and see one of the largest supercomputers in the state!
Don't despair, though! While I was trekking around and prematurely making life decisions, my bird cam was being stress tested for its first day! It held up! 🥳

Voice commands are working as intended! I’m not worrying about the matrix flickering because I’m running the pi over one cable instead of the recommended 2, so technically it might be underpowered. Had a somewhat unsucessfull day. Something happened overnight and now the pico driving my display only talks to my computer when the display isn't powered. it was working fine last night, I did get a new desk tho #hardware-party
