Day 10 of WHW:
Sadly unable to finish project in time because of other time commitments and waiting on PCBs. Hopefully will be able to show off final project in mid March when I get the PCBs
Day 9 of WHW:
Started getting ready to weld cells together. Still a bit concerned about safety so I'm doing more research and balancing the cells with my charger.
Day 8 of WHW:
Didn't have time to do much today between studying and writing essays for scholarships. My stencil and components arrived today though!
Day 7 of WHW:
Spent my day making sure that I took all the proper safety precautions when building the battery by watching videos and researching information online.
Day 6 of WHW:
Spent a lot of time today learning how to program the ESP32 for my battery monitor using the espressif documentation!
Day 5 of WHW:
Spent a lot of time today in kicad and am happy to say that my PCB is finalized and ordered from OSH park along with all the components, and stencil!
Day 4 of WHW:
Didn't have much time today to work on things since I had a debate tournament but I did design my new logo with the help of a friend for my github and a wireframe version of it will be included on my PCB!
Day 3 of WHW:
Spent today developing footprints with KiCad for my PCB to house my ESP32-C6-WROOM. This datasheet was such a pain to get right.
Day 2 of WHW:
Spent today developing a schematic with KiCad for my PCB to house my ESP32-C6-WROOM and 0.96" SSD1331 OLED
Day 1 of WHW:
Spent today getting aquatinted with PCB design with KiCad for my PCB to house my ESP32-C6-WROOM and 0.96" SSD1331 OLED
Followed along Digkey's tutorial to get used to the intricacies of KiCad:
