Today my PCB arrived and I finally finished my keychain. I got scared it didn't work for a second but it does! While I soldering, I somewhat melted my slide switch and it got stuck in off position lmao. Now it works but the switch is not too reliable. I don't know if I want to desolder it and replace it or accept it like this, we’ll see.

Today I finished my PCB. I still may want to add some more silkscreen art on the back, and I have to check some things before ordering. But we’re aaaaalmost there with this project and I’m pretty excited. I got a quote from jlcpcb and it looks like it'll cost me like, 2€, including shipping, so that's great!

Today I started working on the PCB of my project. Everything here will be moved (I have literally routed nothing) but I found all the footprints and made the outline in photopea

Yesterday I did a bunch of troubleshooting and today I finally completed the breadboard version of my last circuit. I feel like it’s pretty validated now so next item on list is: figuring out KiCad

Hi! First project here! I'm making my first PCB as a birthday gift, it will be orca-shaped (my friend’s favorite animal)! Today I worked on the circuit, this is an astable multivibrator which I found online, it basically flashed two LEDs sequentially. But I modified it to be controlled by a photoresistor (so the LED only flash when it's dark!) and I also added a simple pushbutton powered LED just for funsies. Here’s my schematic, I tested it on Falstad and it works. Next step: testing it on breadboard. (excuse my notes in italian, they describe the circuit how I described it above)
