Just got the discord bot to work for question generation, answering, anti-spam measures and will be upgrading it with image capabilities, filtering, and race mode/ leaderboard/ point or ranking system in the future
Decided to start coding a science olympiad discord bot (maybe make one for slack?!) with no coding experience through autocode, I have been able to create questions, and create a database in SQL!, I will be working on a timer feature, buttons for answering, and updating the database to include images and more science olympiad events as well as a filter option for specific events!
Day 11/10 Cannot work because I am at a science competition. Will try to resume tommorow!
Day 10/10! Unfortunately I received the copper tape very late but I was able to do testing and got -40 rssi from 10 meters while -60 rssi from 10 meters with the normal yagi. I hope to finish this project in 2 days from now!
Day 9/10! Decided to just work on designing like yesterday. I won a free drone and decided to upgrade the antenna the drone comes with for a longer-range one. I modified a yagi antenna template so it could work with the copper wire I have and boost the signal by just being placed on the drone controller's antennas.
Day 8/10! Decided to alter the biquad yagi from a previous iteration to be adjusted for copper tape as it is easier to work with! This required me to order some copper tape and push back my competition for the project until I get the tape. I will be working on finishing the normal yagi antenna tomorrow and testing the disk yagi and normal yagi on day 10, while hopefully getting the last antenna and repairing the printer by day 18 (realistically day 11 of the actual project)
Day 7/10 I messed up really badly on the installation of the extruder and decided to take a break and continue working on it tomorrow :(
Day 6/10 The Grind! Worked on making my disk yagi antenna by making 3d printed disks and then using some copper sheets and some hex bolts/nuts. Gonna probably start testing it tmrw!
Day 5/10! Wen to the comp so out for most of the day, luckily had the printer running and made the desgin/mold for a biquad yagi antenna
Day 4/10! Decided to learn basic cad and design the template for a yagi antenna using an online calculator. Hoping tomorrow or the day after tomorrow I can complete making my first antenna!
Day 3/10! Taking things slow for the next three days in preparation for a competition, but I was able to print out a tool holder for the Neptune 2S!
Day 2/10! Finished the manual leveling process. And printed my first print!: A mini Buddha! Planning to continue working on upgrade prints for the printer and install the extruder upgrade later.
Day 1/10 of the hardware grant. Just finished building the 3-D printer, and planning to create some test prints for bed leveling for the next day! #hardware-party
