Yo, it's like Day 4 or something and the person I was counting on to know this stitch I need for my hoodie didn't know how to do it with wire. It's all good though, gotta keep the faith! I'm waiting until Sunday when I'll hit up this gift-making shindig and hopefully find someone who can hook it up with the right stitch (shoutout to adafruit for trying, but their instructions didn't quite cut it). Worst case scenario, I'll just have to improvise and use some pins or something to make it work. Anyways, enough about that, check out this sick bike I used to cruise around the biggest city in the US!
Day 3 Photo one is when I gave up after like 3 hours of trial and error and photo 2 despite not looking as cool as I expected it to be could be considered as a prototype for the my vision I will be working on soon. I have 2 write 1 paper and read 3 scientific papers to give an ppt on it tommorow so I would be MIA untill then (24 hours from now ). See you soon with another update !
Day 2 finally started working on the project despite how short the project seems Adafruit forgot to mention that you need to know how to stich to do the project. I am not kidding I spent like 1.5 hours figuring out how to stich it the right way and have bent the needle so much that it is barely functional. The level of frustration was unexplainable as I don't have anyone I could ask for help (to atleast know how do you actually stich). I know couple of people who could show me the way but I would have to wait till Sunday 😞 unless I want to go to er with multiple needle wounds /s . I will see if I am able to temporary work it out some way or the other for the demo
I got all my parts yesterday [DAY 1 YAY ! /s] (thanks to moving to Sitka AK + my delay in getting the grant) and realized one I start working I cannot wash the hoodie without taking on any risks. This should hardly take like an hour but thanks to procrastinating a piling amount of assignments I cannot start working my TRON HOODIE until after the test in the morning. I will start working and hopefully finish the project tomorrow 6 to 8 PM AKST and would be somewhere here on slackwhile I am doing so. Cheers to hackclub and everyone who is making cool tech !
