Had been working on this Python project, don't have a name for it yet - simply "game".
I had started with wanting to make a kind of dungeon-crawler RPG or something that renders in the terminal, without really using any external library like pygame (I don't have experience with it anyway).
But while I was making it in a single file, messy and all, I got more and more interested in the actual process. I made a new file and defined some classes, some objects to be rendered, the "screen" to be rendered, etc. And so, after some time, I came to the realization that this was turning into a small, scrappy, by-sheer-technicality 1D GAME ENGINE.
That's the journey.
Today, I setup git and made a personal canvas to track todos. Haven't made a GitHub repo yet, will in the future.
Don't know if this project will end up abandoned too, but for tomorrow my main goal is to try and squeeze some time for coding and fix some bugs.
The image just looks funny cuz the main player is an "@" symbol and i experimented with some other objects, like the "E" for a static "enemy".
