After a break from CS, finishing up the VM translator for nand2tetris!
Back to nand2tetris (part II yay) after a break from computer science, and working on other things like learning C and Ruby and how to make a sprig engine
Writing an assembler to translate the Hack machine language to binary
I finished my CPU chip implementation :)
Made lots of progress with the CPU chip for nand2tetris (still won't work though) and read a lot of sinerider's story, can't wait to get started
Finally doing the C exercises from the first chapter of the C programming language
Finished the first lesson from the Odin project, and the exercises, planning to continue this alongside learning C and doing Project Euler
Learning Ruby from The Odin Project, day 2
I tried out Ruby today, the no brackets in function calls goes against every cell in my body but I'm keen on trying it further
Did Project Euler problem 10 after a break from programming, implemented in C
I did Lecture 0 of CS50AI today!
Took a break from programming and read the first chapter of Numerical Recipes in C
My webscraper for my morse code project refuses to work despite me specifiying the exact class, I can't figure out how to even start Project Euler problem 5, my control bits for the nand2tetris CPU chip are all wrong, and I can't think of any project ideas for my RPi Pico. It's about that time of the month when everything breaks
Similar to Gauss's summation formula for natural numbers 1-n ((n*(n + 1))/2), there's a formula for summation of squares, (n/6)*(2n + 1)*(n + 1) , which suggests there's one for cubes, the 4th power, and the nth power as well, solve problem 6, project euler
Finished up the first chapter of the C programming language(okay not the exercises doing them tomorrow)!
I created a discord bot, NoCap, that literally tells you if something is cap or not
I didn't feel like working on a project today, just read the I/O section in the C programming language.
Trying to fix my implementation of the nand2tetris Memory chip for week 5 of the course, which refuses to work. Guess I'll take a break and try to fix it later.
Working on improvements for my Sprig game!
After figuring out GPIO pins are different from the physical pins, I made this PWM LED brightness controller!
Finished designing RAM chips for nand2tetris!
Getting started with the Raspberry Pi Pico, with almost no prior experience in hardware :)
