basically im just showing freedeck off now but i did some stuffs with plugins (this is one that allows you to record output and play it back using a virtual cable) [the latest feature is slots, allowing you to save recordings instead of overwriting the last one]
been a second since my last scrapbook, but i've been working quite the amount on Freedeck v6! it's a full rewrite of the old codebase and allows plugins to extend much further than before
Day 10/10 of WHW! We've made it! My keyboard is completely finished, keymap/firmware and all! The GitHub repo is here: github.com/Roizor/blueboard-keymap . Sadly, there is no custom RGB anything but that is a very complicated topic especially as I don't know much about how the wiring to the lights works and how I'd call it in the software. As stated for the last day in my project, I'd customize the keyboard. I don't know what to add to it but here's what I've got lol.
WHW Day 9/10! Worked on the firmware for my last day and I think it came out good! It's basic, but it fits my needs. I'll release the source code on github soon and edit this post with the link to it! I still can't believe tomorrow is the last day of the event! Also again, if anybody knows how to disable the errors from Visual Studio Code please let me know!
Day 8 of WHW! Can't believe it's been 8 days already, it feels like 7 days ago I was just starting!
This is a lot harder than I thought! Apparently the NK65 has a different backlight system than usual, so I'll need to find some implementation of it because I'm not sure how to make one. On the other hand though, I've created the actual custom functions and the firmware/keymap builds! The touchpad toggle took me the longest and as it turns out it's pretty simple..
Day 7 of WHW!
Can't believe it's been a week! I've started on a keymap for the board as well as learning how to define custom functions (a touch pad toggle is all I have now) but it is starting to get tricky to figure out how to change system things! Other than that, I still haven't found the quote key lol (its around here somewhere), but for now it's a - key.
Day 6 of WHW!
Nothing. No progress, I’ve been away from home all day.. so have this picture of the keyboard but with a placeholder quote key. I haven’t had any chance to do anything but I am still positive I can make it in time within 4 days.

Was busy today so all I managed to do was get QMK MSYS up. No other news! I will start working on it and I'm sure I can finish this on time.
Day 4/10 of WHW!
Sadly the schedule went a little off track ( i was meant to be finished with the build yesterday), but I was able to recover and finish the board! Yes I’m missing the quote key.. I need to find it! Anyways, I’ve been researching C & qmk and I should be ready to start finagling with qmk tomorrow!
Day 3/10 of WHW!
Not much news today. All I have done was lube a couple more switches. I just got home so I haven’t been able to finish the build as quick as I was hoping, if I do happen to finish the build today, i’ll post an update!
Day 2/10 of WHW!
In the next.. 1 day according to my plan.. I should be done with the rest of the keyboard build! This means I’ll have to work quicker and find efficient methods for every process to save as much time as possible.
I’ve lubed a few switches, put keycaps on them, and added the switches to the board to save some time. The W key was donated by one of my friends.
I’ll be posting everyday at 6:00PM CT to allow for some building time after school, i’m a bit late but i got caught up in bandaid mod, tape mod + laying out switches and keys on my desk!
Just like Christmas morning. However, I’ll actually have everything I need soon… except the switches.
