i did a minefield challenge with a vex iq claw robot! the claw robot is supposed to navigate a minefield with mines (red cubes) and aid packs (green cubes) and bring the aid packs back to the safe zone without touching any mines. because the positions of the aid packs and mines were somewhat randomized, i used vision sensors and gyro sensors to detect green/red and turn, respectively. in this video, an aid pack was fortunately right in front of the robot. github.com/coraljellyfish/vex-minefield-challenge

did VEX VR’s dynamic castle crasher simulation! this was super fun to do; the robot basically crashes all 5 “castles” and clears all the blocks off the platform by driving them over the edge. the “dynamic” part is that each time it is run, the layout of the 5 castles changes so the code basically has to work no matter what the layout is. repo: github.com/coraljellyfish/dynamic-castle-crasher-vexvr (see readme for full context)
