I think it's time to share what I've been working on for my last few sessions of #arcade ! A few weeks ago, I talked with my friend about an IRL version of Mister X/Scotland Yard we used to play (for you guys who don't understand now, Mister X/Scotland Yard is a board game; a Team has to track down another player who is hiding on a map). In our IRL version, we used to text each other our current location while running away from each other. So a few weeks ago, we thought, why don't automate this and let a telegram bot send pictures of the current view of the chased one? So I started programming it. So far, I have a working Python script that is processing the Telegram bot requests and taking user commands. Some code for my esp32, who will later take the pictures. This project is really a work in progress, but I'm really enjoying the journey so far! More coming soon... github.com/maxc0des/coming.soon
#hack-hour finished and published the first usable version of my to do telegram bot project. If you wanna have a look at it or even try it for you self the code and an set up guide is on my github: github.com/maxc0des/to.do.bot . more updates coming soon!
#hack-hour I did some more work on my "to do bot" chatbot project running on and esp32 using the telegram api to save to dos I text it and show the on a display. I added some new commands for simpler usage and more userfeedback. The bot is now at least kind of usable. See GitHub for more details: github.com/maxc0des/to.do.bot . Adding the display is next on my list!
#hack-hour I continued my work on my to do chatbot. It will be a telegram chatbot I can text my to do's to and it will remember me of them by showing the tasks on a display in my room. For the current progress just check the readme in the github repository. You can also find the code (still working on it!) there. github.com/maxc0des/to.do.bot
