Skyrace (as I've now dubbed it) is out!
Ever heard of Wikirace? Skyrace is just like that: but for Bluesky! Get a random user, and try find someone else by searching through follower lists!
Have a gander at it at skyrace.dainfloop.me.

Ship #GMM0VHBBM| of High Seas!
I re-designed my website! I'm not big on front-end development, so having something that looks like this is nice! I also actually designed this in Figma before making it, unlike my v1 website.
Have a look at it @ dainfloop.is-a.dev!

Ship #1 of High Seas!
Today I made sprig CLI, which as the name suggests, is a CLI tool for the Sprig! It allows you to check the firmware version, upload new firmware and upload a game! So long are the days of using the Sprig editor to flash a game, now you can do it all within your own machine!
sprig! sprig! sprig! sprig!
I made the @Bluesky bot: which automatically generates a nice embed whenever you post a Bluesky link to a profile or post! Example in the threb:
i made this poster for my club last night
M U S I C
made a celeste mod for my boba workshop slidesi am have website now
dainfloop.is-a.dev
i learnt how to bash again and added a feature to #C056WDR3MQR| that allows you to add root domains to nest (since you can't add CNAMEs to root domains)

day whatever of arcade
started work on (god i'm gonna say this so many times) a nintendo switch and slack status linker! the whole premise is that while you're gaming, your slack status will update to show your current game
(also hi reviewer! this scrap also contains work for an uno in slack project i'm working on. i haven't made enough progress on it to post an image, but hopefully it'll be done soon™️)
greetings scrapbookers. it is day 15 of #arcade. i think.
anyways you can now search for a beatmap and it will show the entire channel that you play nothing but young girl a 👍
yet again not much work done (day 14 though, woo!)
there's a baseplate for a potential beatmap search though, that's something to look forward to
hello scrapbook. missed me? day 13 of #arcade. it's almost been 2 weeks! (it has been 2 weeks, but almost 2 weeks of me doing it)
after an annoying 2-3 hours, i made a command that now allows you to share what multiplayer lobby you're in, whether password protected or not!
battle master updates will resume tomorrow unless i have a sudden brainstorm again
day 12 of #arcade! i took a break from the battler gen once again, and after 5 hours of working, i made a hack club osu leaderboard!
it supports linking your osu! account to your hack club account, viewing the profile of a slack user to find their osu account (and vice versa) and a leaderboard showing the top 10 players of each osu ruleset! (pagination coming soon™️)
you can try it out now using the /osu-* commands in slack!
Day 11 of #arcade. Again I didn't get much work done today. This was meant to be posted yesterday as well but I fell asleep literally as I was going to post it so RIP 12 day scrapbook streak.
There's now a preview of the Battler shop item you've chosen. Yeah that's all I can really say, go fish.
No arcade code today, but I'm almost done with my mod for Undertale Yellow! I started this a while ago and after a bunch of procrastination and the rest of the remixes I need being released, I can happily say I'm near release!
Here's a long list of the remixes I'm adding to the game, but whenever I regain my conscious I might add more (who knows)
day 10 of #arcade! whilst nest was down earlier today, i started on a Brainfuck interpreter (git.haroon.hackclub.app/haroon/brainf-interpreter), and when it came back online, started work on the Battler Shop!
it's very barebones as of right now, but that's because i kept getting interrupted during my sessions 😔
hi max
day 9, #arcade. not my best day yet, however i did start work on adding battler customization to the bot!
essentially you now get to customize battler with items that you can buy with shards (wow they're finally worth something!)
i haven't made the actual shop but here's the new profile output, with your battler being in the bottom right
day 8 of #arcade! that's more than a week!
i added battle awareness to the bot. confused? don't worry. battle awareness is a feature where instead of an action being taken by chance, the opponent's chances of taking a certain action changes depending on your own actions (i.e. choose item? the AI might be more likely to attack you than defend).
i added two new special opponents with this update too: the Incoming Sword and Master OG.
day 7 of the hack club #arcade! finally reached a week. feels like it's been longer.
i've added special + secret opponents to the bot!
special opponents are, in the words of battle special: "They're kinda special... You see, their stats are never the same each time. Whenever you get stronger, THEY get stronger..."
secret opponents are secret. duh.
day 6 of #arcade! i didn't do much today as i did yesterday, but your shards and such show up on your profile, and you can now upgrade your stats!
day 5 of the #arcade!! i didn't get much done today since irl shenanigans, but i made a daily/weekly/monthly rewards system. it's still a bit buggy, but it should be fixed in due time!
day 4 of #arcade! i finally added battling and the rest of the beginner opponents to my bot, and so now a major part of the bot is done!
i'm planning on either working on upgrading/downgrading tomorrow or player battles. i have no clue what to do. probably both.
day 3 of #arcade!! god i wish my life was this fun outside of these sorts of events.
anyways, i got the player turns working! you can now attack, defend or use an item against an opponent! (not forfeit. that comes later.)
Day 2 of #arcade - today I setup the database and created a profile command!
I hope to get the bot done either by the end of the week, or at least before Arcade ends
Day 1 of #arcade! The main project I'm working on is a port of one of my favorite Discord bots to Slack for everyone to enjoy (definitely not because I'm still waiting on something to be done at #nest).
So far I've made a few commands, dynamic opponents and started planning out the database.
my hack club was accepted! can't wait :))))
working on my (soon to be) hack club's website!
yesterday I broke prod, feeling good
contacted some teachers about turning our computer club into a hack club
decided to make a discord bot to help manage stuff i'll be hosting on nest, makes it easier to handle everything and also because other people contribute to projects i'm planning to host
