Next Steps: • Finalized a prototype game!! hey everyone, great news!! I have created the fundamental game!! I will post a link to play in a few days. additional dev logs will come with more info on what was developed with better documentation :) • server devlog #1 - Lua integration + writing a spatial hash. hey everyone! apparently my last project didnt get any stardust because I didnt devlog (and some people being unreasonable in their feedback). so here we go! over the past 6 hours (hackatime genuinely sucks - cant record my hours properly) I have worked on integrating Lua into my server. this is for runtime modification and future plugin support. Progress: • Since my last devlog, I’ve made a lot of progress on my lockbox. I started working on the design of the enclosure in Fusion, trying to figure out how to make everything fit inside without making it look bulky and ugly. I watched some tutorials on youtube (not included in the time) on how to design the hinges, and modified the design so it accommodates the specific needs of the project. I also started working more seriously on the code and UI. I designed the different screens on lopaka.app and started putting them together using different functions. I also designed the home screen, which is going to be the main screen you see when using the lockbox. I’m trying to keep the UI simple, because it has to be navigatable solely using physical pushbuttons. I also spent some time optimizing the slicing settings in Bambu Studio for the 3D print so the enclosure can be printed more efficiently and hopefully come out cleaner. • Hey there! This is my first devlog. So, I’ve had this project idea for a long time, to build a lockbox where I can put my phone inside and lock it for a specific amount of time. There’s gonna be a TFT LCD display with a tamagotchi-inspired character who reacts to how you use the box. He’s happy when you put your phone in and lock it, celebrates when you finish a session without unlocking the box early, and is sad when you do. To start, I used chatgpt to get a first idea of how the character is gonna look, and then I drew him by hand on Piskel (a free online pixel drawing app). I’ve made 7 versions so far: idle, blink, happy, excited, celebrating, sad and sleeping. That’s it for today, see you on the next devlog! Next Steps: • A lockbox where you can put your phone inside and lock it for a specific amount of time. A solenoid lock will be used to lock and unlock the box. There’s also gonna be a TFT LCD display with a tamagotchi-inspired character who reacts to how you use the box. The lockbox is designed in Autodesk Fusion. • That’s it for now, see you on the next devlog! • Hey there! This is my first devlog. Progress: • A videogame about space exploration and saving humanity from a Kessler cascade, comming out soon^(TM). Built using my own engine: Origin! • Added a helmet overlay! (very inspired by outer wilds, id like some suggestions to make it more original honestly, but right now it decent). It is currently work in progress tho, and theres a lot of information missing… • Small UI improvements: rounded borders, removed window’s transparency, added window close sound effects (need to find a better one tho), little better controller support… Next Steps: • I’ve create a custom blender addon that lets me create procedural noise-based planets! It is really powerful and it gets you really good results for how simple it is really. In a way, its nothing but a vertex shader but coded in python lol • You can try it yourself, its open source too! github.com/aloyak/JSP/blob/main/assets_src/blender/addons/planet_generator.py • I’m developing a way for the player to correctly collide with the geometry of these planets, but this is mostly engine-sided changes and I’m not very deep into it yet. I’m currently researching how to handle multi-threading async functions… View Devlog button

📔 New Devlog Boosted Author: @_got.DDR5.RAM_ Title: Omni-Core Summary: You are browsing as a guest. Sign up (or log in) to start making projects! Progress: • I made a fully-local AI-powered student assistant. Like it has EVERYTHING from Textbook Analysis, a Priority Matrix and Web Research to Music Streaming and Music Downloads to Auto-Meeting Transcription and Observer Mode and MORE. Like, building this project was a nightmare in debugging as it used Tauri, Rust and React, and shifting between debugging one to the other is hell as they are VERY DIFFERENT. And the most powerful thing is that this app is like that one teacher who refuses to stop observing you guys, so that you guys work. This constantly records your screen (bit like PiecesOS or Windows Recall BUT I don’t ship all your data to a server unlike Pieces) and gives you statistics on what you’ve been doing, and your entire data including Statistics, Goals, Tasks, Textbooks and Notebooks and MORE are sent to the local AI models (btw, yeah, you have to have Ollama set up with the 4 models mentioned in setup) so that it has your entire context. And all this with no telemetry, privacy risk or internet needs, it can run COMPLETELY LOCALLY (music too is downloadable hehe). Also, please read the GitHub README as it holds all the features, I have only teased it here. Also, btw, this wasn’t made in just 10 hours, that is just the time I had hackatime on (and I’m fine with getting 10 hours worth of Stardust as it is my fault for not having hackatime), I just want you to know that 60+ hours (3-4 hours per day including research) of MY work was put to this and that this is NOT just a scrapped project that over-claims and under-delivers. • Yea, I just added a Start-up page, and also finished up with all the core features. (I spent way more than 3 hours lol, don’t think I just sat and built everything in 3 hrs). Anyways, try it out at: github.com/Koundinya-Git/omni-dashboard Next Steps: • All devlogs, followers, and associated data will be removed. View Devlog button
