@aaryan1Hi scrapbook, long time no post ✉️. Here’s a summary of what’s been happening:
• Joined Canonical/Ubuntu after a short stint at Zomato 🥳 🤌 🤘.
• Working on Anbox (anbox-cloud.io) and LXD (ubuntu.com/lxd).
• Moved to Bangalore after being bored of staying at home and not able to connect with folks.
• Also started working on a company wide initiative called Masterclasses, a platform for folks at Canonical to give tech talks on cool new technologies. Running the whole initiative alone with the help of my director and manager, sharpening my leadership skills here 🙌
• Also gonna give a talk at IIT mandi in September first week :lets-fucking-gooo:
So yeah it’s gonna be 6 months here at Canonical and it’s amazing how much impact I’ve been able to make working at the edge of my abilities and making an impact through open source.
@leom7+Working on a scavenger hunt - will be released "soon"!
@Omay0so, a while ago, i broke my computer (only the screen). over the past few days, i have been installing linux on chromebooks (the only computers i have). i installed ubuntu desktop on the new, non-broken one, and ubuntu server on the broken one. im using ssh to make the broken computer easier to use, along with zerotier for remote. currently doing a mc server.
@Omay0Found out how to install Ubuntu on a Chromebook.

@alialiwa20054Winter of Making Day 5
While the remainder of the LWS cluster case prints, I've flashed SD cards & booted Ubuntu Server :ubuntu:, before completing basic setup and networking... The 4 nodes will have consecutive static IPs for ease of access and identification.
Here's a screenshot of a CPU info command executed through ssh to one of the Libre Web Services :libre-web-services: nodes.
As you can see, it's an aarch64 ARM :arm: Cortex A53 cpu, a mighty cpu for it's size and power efficiency.
@amy72960getting one last bit of ubuntu touch debugging done before i go on holiday
