small update, but got my obsidian daily notes to work with the obsidian columns plugin (it’s a miracle that templater doesn’t choke on the `` symbols littered throughout the template document). Looks pretty clean! Also loving the current theme I’m using (Ultra Lobster)
spent a lot of time today getting obsidian to look nice again (i never bothered to fix my homepage since it broke several version ago, till now)
Spent more time than i care to admit learning about topology and group theory buffoonery also i drew a hat and made my obsidian vault pretty hehe

It’s 4 AM and FL just crashed on me so i am conveniently writing this post while my app is slowly dying in the background! mixing in punchy transients without clipping is actually the hardest challenge on this planet, idk how the pros even do it, im out here putting whatever i feel like together and it’s working somehow but barely. Anyways, coming to an end of this 120+ hour project (348 plugins holy f***), i’ll be releasing tomorrow! Will hold myself accountable this time even though i have like 5 exams tomorrow 🙂 not even joking 🥲
#10-days-in-public the final stretch before the next stretch (6/10)
Spent all day nappin :sleep: but spent most of my conscious hours wrapping up transitions and making an outro. now all that’s left is the gargantuan task of of mixing and mastering the whole 4 min track (unexpectedly long—a good thing?). tomorrow looks a little grim cuz ill be busy for the whole day w classes, but this song is coming together and i can’t wait to pub it!
im starting to feel a little ear fatigue, but we power thru 💪

Not much development, i was tutoring and running errands (new haircut!). Fall break is over :crying_sunglasses_cowboy: wrote some notes for my classes in prep for tmr. Flight back to philly was actually not that bad surprisingly, i met a cool dude who we shared a mutual with and we talked the whole flight. I’ll have an update later tonight w progress on projects 👍

Went w family to amusement parks for the whole day, not much progress at projects tho but it’s coming closer to a close! got my fill to bridge transition down and chorus 2 to drop 2, still need some work on drop1 to bridge and drop 2 to outro and i think it’s just mixing and making cover art and we should be good for a release

Spent most of my time hanging out w family for a while, so not a rly productive day but it is what it is. Worked more on fills, arranging drums, mixing, redoing some of the work i lost ytd due to fl crashing. Had some bad news come around so hopefully things look up but it’s been putting a damper on things 😕
unrelated to the bad news, it has also come to my attention that my cats smell like turds : (

Flew back home (the tsa check in line was insane)! Finding time is a little rough lately and I’m running on like ~4 hours of sleep but still made some progress sorted all my plugins into reasonable folders and spent some time getting a fill to sound decent. I’m p sure that work was lost cuz fl crashed on me but it’s alright cuz i didnt like the direction i was going anyways. still looking for a weekend release as planned, we’ll see how it goes

I’m only realizing now that I probably spend just as much time listening to my demos versus actually writing songs. Maybe I overthink too much? Anyways, this song’s bridge is slappin and i know it
