Cant say particularly was my day. I woke up at 3 in the morning from a stomach ache (ate too much sugar yesterday), but my go to whenever that happens is just using the restroom, drinking water, then eating cheese for some reason. then i went to bed and woke up relatively fine!!! Then i woke up at 6 for some reason (i think its cuz my brother and mom left for his swim thing). took a shower. went back to sleep again. and then after that whole mess i woke up at 12, and like an hour after I woke up i had to drive me, my dad, my brother, and my brother's friend to the mall. It was fun i guess. We didnt buy anything lol. Except some boba, so i guess that was good! idk a lot of guessing here.... Anywhom, we got lunch, dropped off the friend, and then went home. Then i proceeded to be fairly unproductive. Not even playing games, just watching youtube. I got to a point where i just sorta like forced myself to work on the study app for horizons. So i got a hour in on that, making it so you can now go backwards in the ui (like back to the main screen) and allowing you to edit the bindings on a quiz. So uh yeah. I tried to buy my ceiling plush from the ceiling ysws, and had a jumpscare when after i bought it, the actual amount on the grant didnt go down, but my bank account didnt go down either. Turns out amazon only asks for the money right before it gets shipped?? idk. hopefully im right on that. I also tried to buy a movie ticket using my grant from haxmas, but since it wasnt enough i had to turn it into a reimbursement... And i literally couldnt use the reimbursement on hcb since it kept leading to a "page not found" page when i hit submit. So I emailed the hcb email and in the email i had mailed them about the issue. so that was a fun chaotic experience, but all the things today made me feel pretty down. On days when i feel down from stuff like this, I get in my head a lot, but heres my advice in the case YOU are in your head right now for whatever reason: Do Not Falter To Adversity, Because Faltering To Adversity Will Make You Give Up and Giving Up Causes More Adversity Than You Started With

Got some well needed sleeping-in time. Though, despite this, I cant say I did all that much important stuff. A lot of my day was spent watching anime with a online friend over discord call lol. I did fully implement the quiz game to my horizons study app. I also have some plans for a cool mastery tacking thing by just storing your last two attempts on any of the minigames. If you manage to get all questions right in two game sessions in a row, you would have maximum mastery for that dataset. How cool. anyways im going to be real for a second. Im extremely worried about horizons nexus. The event is in exactly 26 days. You are required to buy the ticket 2 weeks before the hackathon, so I need to get the 15 hour ticket within 11 days. Of my three horizons projects, I have one shipped. The previous ship took roughly 10 days to be completed, only to be denied in order to do a reship with my new hour count. Assuming this ship goes through with no reductions, I will hopefully be able to get the ticket in the next two days. This leaves 23 remaining days until the event. Lets say the hypothetical that I REALLY need to get the flight grant to go. Assuming that ships take 10 days to get accepted, that only leaves me 13 days remaining. A flight from my city to SF costs 550 dollars, and under horizons $8.5 grant per hour, that makes 68 hours. This means, I have to do 5 hours a day. Man. I dont know if i can truly go to horizons at this rate. Lets say in a hypothetical world where it only takes 3 days for a ship to get reviewed, I would only need to do 3.4 hours a day. Rough, but a lot more achievable. So uh. Yeah. Kaplin fun fact. I guess. IDK. I feel generally down today. probably because my little brother was just being a general nuisance for most of the day. but hey, thats little brothers for you.
TLDR: Today was a great day with no flaws since i got to sleep in :)

Looking back on this now, the 11th of November seems both so recent, and such a long time ago. While I'd be lying if I said I've changed much as a person, the past 50 days have made me realise that challenges that might seem daunting or even impossible (earning my drivers licence, attending an international Hack Club event) are a lot less scary if you just set your goals and slowly and surely work your way towards them. Day. By. Day.
And of course, having a community that can encourage you and has your back makes a huge difference :)
I'm probably gonna do a proper writeup sometime in the next week, but until then you can find me chipping away at my goals over in #C09PQFWEC8N|. I hope you've all had a great year, and I wish you the very best for the next :salute:

It uses the selenium library to interact with the website and get the information.

This game is a timed prison game where you need to escape in 5 minutes. With some funny lore for the comedy points! The lore is as follows. You were caught committing ticket fraud. Instead of banning you, the hack club staff felt experimental. You are now locked up in arcade prison for LIFE. Is this legal? Idk. But you need to escape. Lucky for you, the arcade staff are busy waking up the 3 children responsible for Hakkuun up, so you have, let's say, 5 minutes. Hurry.
