I replaced the extruded in my 3D printer today! The pre-assembled extruders were all out of stock, so I had to buy the parts for one (which got lost in the mail, so had to place a second order…), put it together, and then pull out the old clogged extruder in the printer and replace it with the new one I assembled. I've always been kind of intimidated by hardware and am really proud of myself for getting this done! + bonus sunset picture from tonight

Hello! Today I am happy to announce that I am releasing Sailboat (github.com/cole-wilson/sailboat) for the first time! ⛵ Sailboat is a Python developer’s best friend. It’s a Python build tool that can do anything you need it to! It supports a countless number of plugins — you can even make your own. Sailboat is made for anyone, whether you are a beginner on your very first project, or a senior software engineer with years of experience. Let’s say that that you have created a basic game, Guess My Number, and you want to send it to all of your friends. There are a lot of different ways you can do this, but using Sailboat is the easiest. All you have to do is type three commands: sail quickstart, sail build, and sail release, and you can have a Homebrew file, a pip installable package, and a PyInstaller desktop app in less than 5 minutes. my mum, brother and I went Palau Ubin today 🏝️ we cycled around it, had lunch, had an ice lolly, did more cycling, had another ice lolly and got on a boat.... ya and my mum made us take lots of selfies lol good time :)

Guess who's got their kayaking certification? Meeee, I completely fluked that "assessment" and now it's "safe" for me to kayak. I am a one star kayaker, I honestly didn't know you needed a certification to kayak so this weekend took an unexpected turn but was certainly one fun experiment! Also had fish and chips from this very British fish and chips shop, yumm photos are of some art in the MRT I saw, a very empty mrt carriage and the fish and chips

Sitting out on the dock reading as a lightning storm rolls in. Had a relaxing afternoon kayaking (the only one not falling out of my boat…🏊‍♂️) & cooking a great dinner with the team. 🚣‍♂️🍕
