@Kieran7+@scrappy-U015D6A36AG appears to have broken or has a bug. Even though 24h hadn't yet elapsed it removed my streak badge and sent me four streak expiry messages.
@leom0To reduce spam :trashcanparty:, fake scrappy now sends messages in your DMs instead of in threads.
For those who haven't heard about fake scrappy before, just react with :noscrappy::noscrappy: to any #scrapbook post when @scrappy-U015D6A36AG isn't working.

@sampoder0:scrappy: 19,626 posts have been made by 860 Hack Clubbers in #scrapbook since June 2020 (this was my first post from back in the day!). Just under three years later, it’s time for Scrapbook to evolve.
We’ve always wanted more clubs to post on Scrapbook, however, many club members aren’t on the Slack. Now you can create a Scrapbook profile entirely from the web! This will give club members a space to share what they’re creating in their clubs. Alongside that, accounts can be created / managed from the web and you react to posts like you do in #scrapbook.
Leaders: head to <https://scrapbook.hackclub.com/|Scrapbook> to create pages for your clubs. Members can post on there and share what they create in your club with the world! Custom domains & CSS (like on Scrapbook profiles) are supported - these pages would make for sick club websites.
It uses the classic combination of Next.js & Prisma with the new addition of next-auth! @scrappy-U015D6A36AG also now uses Bolt which has been a nice quality of life improvement. Here’s the GitHub: github.com/hackclub/scrapbook.
v2 is in beta at the moment, check it out here: scrapbook.hackclub.com. bugs are expected and I super appreciate a ping when you stumble across one.

I'm back with Second day updates on my #hardware-party project.
So, today I wrote some code to convert the epub files into beautiful images which the eInk display can then display. Still figuring out if this is the best way but Waveshare asked me to convert everything to images so here we go with Approach one.
@jzaleta0Today my #scrapbook ended! :sadge::fireball: After 418 days my streak has officially come to an end! This morning I got the painful message from @scrappy-U015D6A36AG that I forgot to post last night. I completely meant to but it slipped my mind for the first time since I joined Hack Club :hack-club:, I had a lot of homework and projects so I couldn't post anything on time. That being said, although it was cool to keep it until this day, this is the last post I will do to my scrapbook and thanks to everyone who followed along for 418 days! ⚡
@jzaleta0While @scrappy-U015D6A36AG wakes up and gets repair :scrappy:, I'm also learning about Proxmox! Also I checked out PhotoPrism as an option to self host my photos! I will be sharing more self host tools and apps I find during this next days!
@matthewvandyke080After 399 days my streak has officially come to an end! This morning I got the painful message from @scrappy that I forgot to post last night. I completely meant to but it slipped my mind for the first time in 399 days, kinda upset I was one day off from 400! I probably won't be posting daily anymore to my scrapbook but I kept the streak going for a while so I think its time for a little break. Thanks to everyone who followed along for 399 days!
@malte0Hello big daddy @scrappy in the sky! Today I wrote an ethics essay and yelled at an amp!
@malte0Hi @scrappy! Today I worked on how the images for the analysis page are rendered, and made it much faster (images are uncached in GIF attached)
@fayd0I haven't posted today, I'm scared, @scrappy forgive me
@alchzh0Apparently I derive around the same level of enjoyment from bug fixing as I do from playing TFT
using this opportunity to test @scrappy’s broken message handling
@caleb0I'm gonna try to get @scrappy to react with as many emojis as possible, for no particular reason.
When we arrived in space, there were shouts of "yay!" and "hooray!" I wanted to sleep, but the sunset was much too captivating. As I struggled to paint a representation of the masterpiece, my art was cut short by a reminder of our predicament. Our ship's Linux core had been damaged by a rain storm. Upon further inspection, is appeared as though the Rust installation on our ship's robot had been corrupted. We debated which language to replace it with; "Golang!" Matt said. "Swift!" Linus shouted. "Deno!" "JavaScript!" We decided on rewriting the robot's code using minecraft redstone (that way we didn't have to use npm). 15 years later, once we finished, we pushed to the GitHub repository. But wait! The robot's hardware was also severely crippled. We had to 3d print some parts, after getting the models from Google.
@anthonykung0Calculating propagation delays for no good reason... @scrappy can I get my streak now?
@msw0@scrappy now has a startup message that gets posted in #bot-spam for each new build
