I'm going to the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) International Final at Singapore! :spinny_fox:
• Took a flight to Abu Dhabi (UAE) then to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia)
• Visited Kuala Lumpur :yay:
• Took a bus to Singapore where I met the rest of my team
• On the first day of the competition we assembled our robot and tested it, everything worked fine
• On the second day a surprise rule was announced and we programmed the robot to do it. In the end we didn't have enough time margin but we did the best score without the surprise rule
• On the last day, a new set of missions was announced. We scored 80 points in our best round. We were placed #C0980UBCWHX| out of 112 teams :ultrafastparrot:

• (Not an Incremental) Added a new "Action" class with a bunch of inherited objects that you add under nodes that need them and they run specific code like obtaining some stat or purchasing something! Might merge this with the upgrade system somehow
• (Not an Incremental) Added a new platform to test it. Also, made a Platform class that listens to the signal bus (added that as well) for a sign that the platform was purchased
• (Not an Incremental) Basically a bunch of infra for the game. And now I'm stuck with the looming horror of designing the actual game :noooovanish:
On another note:
• Gym today, push day raaah
• stopped listening to white noise and started listening to the alan becker lofi livestream
• today was much more productive, maybe tomorrow I can actually go back to doing my regular 5hrs/day? not yet 10/day tho

A wifi joystick with the interface hosted on an esp8266
(Despite the name "ESP32Joystick" it uses an ESP8266, it is because I intended an ESP32 to be used at first, but it got too complicated)
This esp8266 joystick has an interface made with html, css and javascript which are hosted on a WiFi capable microcontroller, the esp8266. The esp8266 communicates with an Arduino Pro Micro which emulates the Xbox 360 HID controller over I2C bus protocol.
The reason I chose to emulate an Xbox360 controller was because of it is widely supported by many devices that runs on android, IOS, mac or windows.

☀️🚌@YutaroU.-U04FSLFMB5Y0Day 2/10 of #hardware-party! Finished designing the box to house all of the components in. Added a overhang so that the pressure and humidity can still be sensed while the box is closed while still providing shelter from the rain. Formatted one of my project 128mb micro sd cards to implement logging. Spent some time banging my head against the wall trying to figure out where the BMP280 is located on the I2C bus. Turns out the manufacturer (seller 3rd party) was wrong and the sensor is not on 0x77 but instead on 0x76. Will print the box tomorrow time permitting.
