I created a quick vector calculator using plain HTML and CSS. It can add, subtract, find out dot and cross products! I will definitely be working on it further, and may calculate all the results as the input values are updated... I am also planning on adding a graph for visualization. Check it out at my website! And you can find the source code on Github.

Restarted work on my swift playgrounds recreation of my app that is on the App Store. I made it so that the charts were in their own files, and also made it so that the graphs will show the donut chart when there is only one assessment done. Once I think I am satisfied about the amount of updates I’ve made, i will put my code back into the Xcode project and someone will help me publish it as an update to App Store Connect. The original app can be found at app.swiftinsg.org/Academ and the repo with the playground is at github.com/JHIT-Tripping/Academ-V2-as-playground

Here's another for y'all: wokwi.com/projects/404030077368880129 GitHub: github.com/LandonBayer/FilamentScaleESP This is a ESP32 based 3D printer filament scale to determine (roughly) how much filament is left on the spool. It automatically calculates the weight left in grams, percentage of the spool used, and displays on the LED bar graph a visual of how much remains. The 4 digit display is a simple scale for any other objects being measured.

Perfect for visualizing these intriguing sequences! Dependencies: GCC for compiling the code and Gnuplot for plotting. Check it out! Don't forget to install gnuplot before using it!! Apple will replace your battery for free if it's 79% health or lower, and if you have Applecare Therefore I made a program to wear your battery for you, and contribute to cancer research in the process. Apple gets your applecare coverage money, you get a sweet new battery, and the scientific community benefits. Here's the end product: github.com/krishnayah/battery-testing We can also see how tricklecharging works in this graph I made. The rate of charging slows significantly after 50%

github.com/stefanlighezan/GraphingCalculator wokwi.com/projects/403214128806652929 I recently had to purchase a graphing calculator for my math class this freshman year. The calculator I purchased was 50% off, and still $70! In my hope to make a better product, I made this graphing calculator that has the same ram (255kb) as the calculator I got. While it does not have an operating system, nor UI, it has a shift button and can graph a multitude of functions, including transcendentals. You can find the guide on github and the calculator on Wowki.

day 8/10 — was really busy today with school and scholarships, so didn’t get too much done. sent out a bunch of emails to meet with professionals and potential customers — for now, enjoy this video of a now-optimized knowledge graph that works in nextjs now!

Day 5 of #10-days-in-public! I’m playing around with an analytics page that gives a quick overview about the financials for an org. It probably won’t ship though. I’ve figured out how to pull data from the backend into a chart! I’m having some issues with the other chart though… Chart.js can be really annoying sometimes. Another graph idea for the spending: a github contribution-like grid where it shows shades of green or red like the one on hackpenn.com/finances Thoughts and suggestions welcome!

Day 2/10 of #10-days-in-public! I’m working to rebuild my personal website, zachlatta.com, over the next 10 days with the key new feature being the ability to render content from a subset of my notes in Obsidian. Today I focused on getting the script I wrote to separate out my Obsidian notes into a separate repo deployed to a server and running every 15 seconds. I ran into some tricky issues around authentication, but got it working! All the public notes are now being pushed to github.com/zachlatta/public-notes. Next step is to build out the new Next.js site to render those notes on zachlatta.com in a nice clean way. I’m also thinking of adding some sort of GitHub commit chart-esque visual to the new site, and perhaps a streak mechanism too.
