Got back from camping, worked on my song, wrote some of my novel (designed an instrument), practiced Duolingo and finished school. Wow, I was busy!

Introducing... Aristeo! He's a member of the Legion, fighting for liberation and justice.
I haven't completely written his character yet, but I'm so excited to explore him! I don't want to spoil much, so I'll quit talking now.
Although I'm not finished with Part I of the novel, I think it's good to plan ahead (you can see some earlier character designs of aristeo in #orbital-lab!)
I also practiced duolingo, the usual and whatnot.
I finished They Both Die at the End. It was so good, but also WHYYYYY.... It made me cry because it was so sad :(

Okay so I'm literally writing this right before I go to bed. I'm super tired because It's been a long day, but here are some notes of what I did today!
• Started reading They Both Die at the End. It's really good so far, and I'm halfway in. I'll probably be a bad kid and stay up and read some more
• I practiced esperanto on duolingo... I'll probably step up my practicing this friday because I'll be on my way to camp this weekend again.
• Finished the rough draft of Episode 2 of my serial novel, Zero Gravity (now publishing on Kindle Vella and Wattpad!)
• Explored some new songwriting ideas
• Got my learner's permit... Oh, and my license to kill, but that's a secret 😉
• Wrote some stuff for school
• Wrote this little scrapbook post

I was really tired/dehydrated/whatever from school and stuff today, so I didn't do a lot. I recorded a recording of Love Story lyrics over my version of Romeo's Love Story, but it's really bad quality, so don't blame me if you listen to it.

📚 Today, I completed the current challenge by collaborating with @KaraMassie to make our "read lists" longer (This is day two, since I briefly mentioned it in my last post!) I finished my book, His Majesty's Dragon by Naomi Novik today, and it was so good! I can't wait for the next book to be available at the library for me. Tomorrow, I'll pick up another book that I've been wanting to read.
:esperanto: I made it to sapphire league on :duo: Duolingo! Yay! I've also put a textbook on Esperanto on hold from the library. This particular book is held with high esteem in the community and I've had experience with some of its content as well... Its very well written!
🏫 I wrote a letter (Right-center) to someone in order to complete an assignment for my english class. The handwriting is... Let's just say it's not my best work.
✍️ I started writing the last scene of my second chapter. Gotta keep cranking through! I also wrote some song lyrics and poetry that's probably not going to get shared, but whatever. Since today was my writing club, we had some fun creating random story ideas, such as a horror novel about walmart employees trapping customers in the self checkout area and making them go insane from the machine saying "Please scan item then place item in the bagging area." Not only that, but there was even some classism involved! Fun times!
🏋️♂️ I'm not sure if I mentioned this in my first post for #100-days, but I'm trying to just be more active/healthier. I went for a walk outside and I have some stuff I'm going to do before I go to bed tonight.
🎼 I got the general concept for and first few lyrics of a twisted version of "Love Story" by Taylor Swift. It's meant to be from Romeo's perspective and ends with... Well, y'know, death. I think it sounds fairly good so far and if enough people peer pressure me ask me to share it, I may send a snippet.

Today I stayed home from school again due to sickness. I did make my lights automate with home assistant better.
Today, I finished up my church and rebuilt part of my house. I also studied a lil for my biology test tomorrow, did some writing, and did some school, cuz COVID!
Tomorrow, I'm going back to school! (Yaaaaaay- aw :sadge: ) (also dw, I'm taking actual precautions LO)

Today, I honestly did nothing interesting by myself, though I did join the Showcase for WHW, which turned into a nice little impromptu hack night.

It's the last day, y'all! (oh I'm southern again)
I didn't end up working on my project today, because I decided that I wanted to 3d print my case instead of making it from wood. Now, I have to order a print from my ✨ amazing ✨ library.
Instead of doing my project, I took a short nap and spent ~5 hours playing my guitar and spending some "me time" points.
I've started using red light at night. It make my head not hurt as much! It's super nice.
Tomorrow, I'll probably join :hack-club:Hack Night, and I plan to join the presentation meeting this Saturday!
So at last, goodbye, I'll be happy just to have known you, and we wished each other well.

We're almost there, just one day left!
Today, I attended a StuCo conference, began finalizing my enrollment in some courses, watched some CS50 Lectures, hosted a 💨 Sprint with tejas, and cleaned my room!
Unfortunately, I haven't received my transistors yet, so my light strip can't be done yet. But, as Chuck Norris said (according to ddg), “There is no finish line. When you reach one goal, find a new one.”
💪 Can't wait to finish out strong!

Today, I hosted a Sprint which provoked some very interesting conversations. Thanks to everyone who joined!
I added shortcuts to my HA dashboard that take me to detailed history views! Hooray! Other than that, I finished up my schoolwork for tomorrow so I can attend a StuCo conference.

Today, I made designs for a server rack based from Ikea furnishings (19", 16-18U). I know, I know, it's been done before, but I'm so excited and can't wait to get it all ordered! I also applied for some scholarships today... Fun!

Today, I took a break from my project in person to go tour ORU at one of their Quest Days!
As part of my tour, I got to meet professors from their Computation and Mathematics department, and see one of the largest supercomputers in the state!
Don't despair, though! While I was trekking around and prematurely making life decisions, my bird cam was being stress tested for its first day! It held up! 🥳

Today, I got the streaming server deployed and set up with home assistant. After that, I got the stream started from the phone! I've attached a video of it in action.
What about 💨 Sprints?
I "hosted" two sprints today, both the EST and CST ones. Unfortunately, no one joined! Please note that these sprints can be started by anyone at any time, and that these are not required or officially by HQ. Also, I had a request to host an IST sprint. Unfortunately, that doesn't line up with my timezone, so please message me if you're interested in hosting that :)
It looks like people started following my scrapbook format. Fun!

Today, I couldn't get much of my project done because of transportation issues!
So, I instead reorganized my dashboard on Home Assistant, and worked some more on my dedicated weather dashboard (attached in video).
Can't wait for what lies ahead!
(P.S. I'm making plans to hack together a smart thermostat with the extra Pi Pico I received. Stay tuned!)

It was storming this morning so I got the joy of rushing downstairs to start waterproofing! I had much panics.
After that, I had school. When I got home, I spent time updating sensor accuracy and adding a status LED.
All in all, I also got a lot of valuable weather data to work in making observations with!

Okay, so I know winter hardware wonderland hasn't started yet... but we're getting ready to have a small storm system move through and I wanted to gather some data! Hope it's okay that I set up this sensor early...
For now, it's sitting in my room (that large temperature dip was it going outside)
I'm going to waterproof it and move it outside tomorrow morning after I do some schoolwork...
Day -3/10 of Winter Hardware Wonderland!
Today, I started figuring out the wiring for my Pi Pico light strip controller. I found an article from Adafruit that was very helpful. I have to go to the store to get some transistors and resistors for them. I also began work on the ESPHome configuration for the Pi Pico. Can't wait!
Tomorrow's Agenda:
• Attempt flashing the firmware and hooking it into HA
• Plan wiring for weather sensors.
• Order a print for the enclosure of the controller
