• talked to someone tday ab making like a place where alt ppl in africa can connect. would be a rlly cool way to have stuff like events centred around diff subcultures
• i feel like ive been making mistakes much more lately so ive been trying to see if i can improve on that :D

1. laptop was out for repairs again. when i got it back i spent a couple of hours experimenting with playground.tensorflow.org which was super fun :)

2. my laptop went to get some repairs (got repaired but came back with more issues :pf:)

made jurnl sign in page :D (google sign in), sent one last batch of sponsor emails and called some + contacted teachers on linkedin + more maths
i am nolonger feeling sick which is awesome. i have a new idea ive been working on ! (the vines might or might not be there. to be on the safe side, on the coding end ill do it without them until i get a reply from the owner letting me know if i have permission to add them to the site)
another somewhat not so productive day since i didnt wake up feeling any better from yesterday :noooo: i got to see a doctor tho :) aside from that today was nice :D i also submitted some school work so i dont have to worry about physics work until december. for now enjoy this podcast episode i listened to today!
been feeling sick today so nothing major but i started learning a couple of sql stuff on frontend masters (shoutout github education pack lol) and i started thinking of some stuff i wanna make next week. rn im thinking journal so imma see how that idea goes.
i locked in last night and today and added a couple of stuff to hackadoro:
1. i made the data on the to do list save so when you reload the page its still gonna have your to do list stuff (localStorage for the win, probably just dont clear cache/cookies. i tried firebase but it just wasnt working out)
2. i added some convenience features like adding to do items w the enter button
3. changed the music a lil (just changed one song)
4. made the font smaller since it looked rlly weird on ms-edge with previous font size, same for spacing
5. did NOT change the logo nor did i change the bg :heavysob: i have no creativity so theyre gonna stay like that </3
6. made a readme
i think its ready for use now so ig im gonna ship it - link to the repo
today i tried to learn ab some backend stuff for hackadoro so no update ab it BUT i did make my terminal in a way i liked it! (also idk why my computer misses out on the A and calls me louis)

1. internet was out for a solid amt of time so i went roaming around nairobi
2. when i got back i continued working on hackadoro. added some small features like a "total time spent" and break/work indication i still do not know what i wanna do w the bg + logo. i also made it live (but i will warn you that it might not work the best just yet!). heres the repo too :) i also started thinking ab the backend stuff which im not so sure how im gonna work it out but it was nice seeing what kinda options i got
added music (why is radiohead there? awesome question. idrk either, ill add more focus music soon lol), added a todo list, decided the session stats might go into settings or something and projects will be a selectable feature or something :ptoday i:
made lots of pomodoro site progress (i intend to change the logo thingy soon, as well as add an actual bg for now those are just gonna be a placeholders, ill also add more sections on the right soon) :) + did some minor tweaks on the plane hackathon proposal w the help of @/Pixelglide (he added a new section!! :)) )! + continued experimenting w pixel art and trying to get the hang of it
lol i lost my streak (fr this time) last night for some reason but ngl im not too bothered by that :) ive been thinking alot about what i wanna do with what i code bc alot of what ive been workinf on doesnt rlly have much of a purpose (im sorry rizzlergpt), its just code that does stuff. so my goal with high seas is to make projects that can be useful for other people while also learning new things. anyways enough of me yapping (on scrapbook of all places :heavysob:)
today:
i started off with working on a pomodoro timer (this is gonna be my first complete react project lol). i wanna have features that can make it better for programmers :) so i think im gonna work and complete this for the next 2 weeks and see how it goes :) i also started working on a list of other stuff id wanna make that have the same kinda goal. i also started learning some pixel art since for my pomodoro timer i wanna add some orpheus art there

i finished the website for my spooky boba. i'll try to make some improvements sometime soon but i think i like it a decent amt now. today i also went to the office and also met a sponsor which went decently well! i worked on some more budget still and did a bunch of school assignments. i also had a meeting with my progress manager (that's my homeschool's fancy name for homeroom tr) to change my maths schedule and i rlly like my maths schedule now!

1. an assignment on DDE for my robotics class
2. started working on my chip-8 emulator but i switched tutorials since i wasn't rlly sure where to start. i think im getting the idea so i might go back to the one i was using to see if it makes more sense :)
3. contacting a boba shop for discounted boba for counterspell since we're getting like 100
today i was sponsormaxxing (this infact didnt go as great is i hoped it would bc i rlly didnt know what to say :nooo:). i also did some stuff for counterspell nairobi and i started learning how to make an emulator w this super cool tutorial.
made some css for my scrapbook (except idk why its not working on my scrapbook :noooo:) this is how its supposed to look like in theory
today might be the final no code day for now.
1. i met with a sponsor for #C07NWHUHD63| today also sent out some more emails. learnt that if its a small company, reach out to the ceo, a bigger one, reach out to marketing and sales (that’s what been working for me).
2. i also did lots of maths and physics work today. im rlly happy im getting ahead.

4. wanna work on my scrapbook css by tmrw + i wanna start deciding on a side of tech to focus on since some chunk of the cause my burnout was from focusing on wayy to many things that are all wayy to different.
day 4 of no code. today was a semi no-code day, i didnt do any coding but i learnt about it in my robotics class. i also did lots of maths work and econ work today for assignments i wanna submit early (i rlly wanna clear out my schedule by submitting everything wayyy earlier). i also got some tickets for an SMEs convention (im mostly only gonna use that to network for #C07J6TP1LLB|). counterspell related, i got to work a lil bit on the budget, if you wanna check it out its here :)
day 3 of no code, i was super busy today but managed to make this :D
day 2 of no-code week:
I wasnt home for some part of the day (i was very much dying in the heat lol) but I got back a few hours ago and I made some more changes to counterspell nbo's poster concepts and social posts, i also sent some emails to sponsors. gonna work on a sign up form tmrw
day one of code-free week was rlly productive:
1. i made a proposal for hq for an event. never really done anything like this
2. i got venue confirmation and met some likely sponsors. learning how to speak to sponsors has been super cool
3. i gor back into journaling :) pic of some stickers ill be using on my journal (cant do actual journal entry pic)
DDE today again, i am having some major coding burnout :noooo: so i'm gonna be taking a break from coding for the next week or so (i'll still update my scrapbook w all the cool stuff im learning outside coding)

today was probably the hardest day of making fjaril, i added functions tho i messed up a bit so im trying to get them to work :) im also thinking of doing a name change and call it something diff from fjaril
Part of yesterday and today I worked on adding logical operations and fixing a rlly huge error I had (this took up most of my time). I also gave it a name, fjaril which is Swedish for butterfly and I worked on part of the read me.

its been a while since i lastly made a post but i have been working on my website little by little (took a break b/c i had a competition). i removed some sections and added some others and made a few more minimal changes to how it looks :) tomorrow im going to fix my about me and edit some stuff on the other pages :)
