@SophiaPung0Weβre finally able to share the high level schematic for the board (we have many more lower levels to the schematic hierarchy)!! A huge shoutout to our team @jc@HenryBass-U02KEJ8T6D8@Cheru, and @NilaRam for ALL the hard work we put in this week!!:index_pointing_at_the_viewer: π₯
Also a huge shoutout to everyone who helped us, fed us, and housed us (@ThomasStubblefield + @ImDeet-U045B4BQ2T0) this week. Thank you to @KaraMassie and @msw for coordinating with us, and helping us through the logistics for this project. Thanks @NickyCase, @malted, @kognise, @belle, @karina) for hanging out with us this week, and keeping our spirits high. Next sprint we plan to write a programmable multilayer convolution layer NN using wavelet transforms. Stay tuned for our progress next sprint (December 26th-1st), and come to our demo day on New Yearβs day if youβre around (or tune in via zoom). Thanks everyone who joined and participated in this channel, and follow our Twitter so see the memes we post from the week (OpenAI board memes, touching grass, team sink + moreπ). 3-2-1 MMI!!!!!!!
@Sameer0YOHOO!! Hackclub Twitter posted about me and my drone!! All thanks to the amazing @belle for reaching out for this! And to the fabulous @MelanieSmith for making me so motivated for WHW to do well!!
PS: Chaotically Awaiting the next hardware event! Till then I'll create Pin and sticker designs for @Holly ! :8bit-heart: Thank You All!
@cytronicoder0I started working on a bounty for someone on Replit today: a web3 login page with transaction list and a meme. I'll probably finish it by this week, but the hard part is probably managing my time rather than the actual coding.
You can see my progress on the bounty here. I've already made a button that connects the user's wallet to the website, and I'm working on the transaction list now.
You can check on my #one-year-of-hacking progress here: github.com/cytronicoder/one-year-of-hacking/blob/main/january/2023-01-03.md
(To this end, I might make a Twitter bot that automatically summarizes the code you've written into a readable thread... hmm... :thonk:)
@reesericci0day 15/10 for #10-days-in-public: I nerded out about jetlag today and I think I'm going to get some posters that someone designed on twitter printed up for my birthday
@aaryan0Also attended DevFest New Delhi today (3rd Dec '22) at Radisson Blu, Aerocity. I posted all the updates about devfest on my twitter :p AND the coolest thing about this event was the dedicated Web track. It was so soo amazing to attend all the JS talks! I need more JS talks in my life <3
@linkai0#10-days-in-public day 10/10
today, i mostly caught up on late school work since i grinded on the polistat website. we did get site analytics up though, weβre getting activity from twitter and some other sites which is cool.
@linkai0#10-days-in-public day 9/10
polistat 2022 is officially published! our twitter and insta is up and weβre getting lots of views and reactions already π anyways, today i added distribution previews for the homepage and i figured out how to set consistent sizing on candidate page images, since they were markdown generated. i also had to hard code in the two alaska candidates as republicans since their election is weirdunconventional. π€ feel free to check out the website if you havent yet β we rerun our model twice a day! polistat.mbhs.edu
@celeste0i am writing a script to determine who i follow on twitter :tw_relieved:
@cnnd0i wrote a program to automate the changing of my twitter banner, being my second project to be written in golang that i'd actually share, and deployed it to a digitalocean droplet!
@benjjjmin0Wrote quite a lot of articles during class! Also figuring how to reach out to people on Twitter and not look like a freak
@celeste0twitter polls only allow four options! they also only allow 25 chars per option! i find this annoying!
so iβm Illegally using the so-called βplayer cardβ feature to embed more flexible polls in tweets. itβs goingβ¦ well, iβm making progress
@malted0:sunglassesblob: Today I have been working on a Twitter bot that tweets about vehicles that are untaxed or have no valid MOT. The repo can be found here.
@christina6950Still on vacation π Got a little stuck with JavaScript this morning but kept going. Then went for a walk on the beach at sunset and bumped into Jack Dorsey. Not joking! Said hi. He said hi back.
@jzaleta0Today I continued working on freeCodeCamp, did research on Chrome Web Tools and joined Twitter a few days ago! I hope it will be useful to share things and some thoughts on topics!
@rishi0π club ship club ship club ship
:turner: last friday, @heyrajan and i hosted the first hack club meeting at turner fenton for this year! after months of weird bureaucratic idiocy, we got clearance to use the largest makerspace at schoolβand we filled it up right to the brim!
after a couple days of stickering, we got hundreds of signups and invited everyone to lunch inside the robotics room, where we played a ton of glass animals w/ projectm visualizers on the walls and introduced everyone to the world of hacking β¨
we also got a fair bit of people onto the slack (where weβll be doing most of our club stuffs); check out #turner and @turner-hackers! club season hasnβt officially started at our school yet, so i was pretty stunned to see the turnout we gotβiβm so so so hyped for the next lil bit :parrot_love: you can find a compilation of photos & moments on twitter :))
β€οΈ happy hacking, homies~
@HenryBass-U02KEJ8T6D80t Log day 8:
Woo! Getting a lot of stuff done. Spent today trying to understand whatever a Kalman filter is. Basically no luck. Also a bit more work understanding networking, and setting up my raspberry pi. Finally, working on a bunch of tiny projects to put in my Snippets repo. Including:
β’ Program to tell you if a link redirects to a rickroll
β’ Phishing websites (surprisingly fun)
β’ Malware stuff (Also pretty fun)
β’ Program to find people near you who mentioned X subject on twitter
That's all for now! As for an image, here's whatever the fuck a kalman filter equation looks like (No clue, haha scary funny letternumbers go brr)
@rajanagarwal0Ahoy! π’ :shipitparrot: This is probably my favourite ship so far and I'm more than happy to announce heyrajan.com. In your exploration of my digital persona, it hope that you develop a profound understanding of my world, built on the foundation of creation and change. It's always been a dream of mine to release a personal website, and I am ecstatic that the first people I can share it with are my fellow Hack Clubbers :parrot_love: . A few things:
/home π ~ Manifesto, Highlights, Daily Activities, Upcoming Initiatives
/explore π ~ Socials, Contacts and A Few Important Links
/ventures βοΈ ~ My favourite non-work endeavours that I'm working on
/prev π° ~ Coming Soon
I hope that you can learn a bit more about my world, as online we are just a few profile pictures looking at one another. Also, "heyrajan" is now a ping word, for all you pingy hackers out there π
Subdomains: g (github), in (linkedin), ig (instagram), d (devpost), t (twitter), sb (scrapbook)
As always, open sourced at github.com/itsrajan/heyrajan. Feel free to add issues, feedback, PRs or just thoughts overall. Thank you everyone for your support, and I hope you enjoy :hyperbongocat::hyperfastparrot::hyper-dino-wave:
@Ishan0YOOOOOOOOOOO I JUST LAUNCHED DEVZAT ON PRODUCT HUNT! As you all know by now, it's chat but over ssh and it has Twitter updates and a slack bridge at #ssh-chat-bridge and markdown support and devbot and even chat rooms and syntax highlighting for code and tic tac toe and hangman builtin and timezone and all sorts of fun stuff! AND IT'S ALL OVER YOUR TERMINAL. Go smash that upvote button! www.producthunt.com/posts/devzat
DEVZAT IS NUMBER 3 ON PRODUCT HUNT WORLDWIDE :producthunt:
@zfogg0i got the :twitter-verified: check mark on BitClout and my market cap is $15.5k now π
@lachlanjc0Carbon emissions dropped during COVIDβbut working from home introduces its own emissions. Iβve helped build an interactive calculator at Watershed to model these emissions: watershedclimate.com/wfh-calculator (& wrote a Twitter thread with some design details!)@Skye04 followers in just a few days on Twitter. I'm excited π
@matthew0Earlier today I stumbled across a series of Twitter bots that make cool generative art. The creator, who previously did not know how to code in Python before making those bots, said that this article was instrumental to him figuring out how to make those bots. So for the last few hours, I've been going through this and following along and making my own random image generator. The code was less than 100 lines long, so I figured it would be pretty simple, but there's soooo much going on that it took me hours to figure out how it works. Here's the repl where I built it. And here are some of the images I made with it.
Now that I understand how this works, I'm hoping to hack it a bunch until I make something unique and that's entirely my own creation π
@ella0I did Harsh's twitter automation workshop! :python:
@safin.singh0Guillermo Rauch liked my first tweet!!!!! :pizzaparrot::pizzaparrot::pizzaparrot::pizzaparrot::pizzaparrot::pizzaparrot::pizzaparrot::pizzaparrot::pizzaparrot:
