Haven't scrapbooked for a while 😅 we're now on the 7th day of 10DOC and I have officially pushed my portfolio (also my first Vercel app!). It was Lion City Hacks yesterday: massive shoutout to @sampoder and his team for organising this whole event! We had a lot of fun (and stickers), and the team learned a lot of key designing tools and programming skills along the way. Last weekend, the

Assemble team launched ticketing.assemble.hackclub.com, which allows attendees to upload their physical or virtual vaccine card ahead of the event, and will soon open up for pre-event COVID testing. A ton of work was put into it by the team: @tetraoxygen built the backend for Assemble ID and vaccine verification, I built a website for uploading vaccination proof, and @sampoder added the finishing touches like the Assemble theme and copy. The repo has been private for a bit while we cleaned up the codebase and improved security and stability, but now it’s public! If you’re attending Assemble and you haven’t already uploaded your vaccine card, go to ticketing.assemble.hackclub.com and do it before Tuesday.

Today I have officially reached 365 days of posting to my scrapbook. I started during Summer of Making last year just as something to do, but after the summer I kept up with it to keep myself accountable. If you go back you can see all my projects and updates from them that I have done since last year such as: Students Who Code, my portfolio, myDash, BrainDUMP, esports website, running Secret Santa, and so much more! This is what I showcased in the #asiaconf The self-stabilizing spoon was my Summer of Making project and now I'm shipping the version 2.0 I tried to reduce the size of the handle and also designed a custom PCB for the same. Hey everyone! Here's my SOM Project. It's a Self Stabilizing spoon for Parkinson's patients. My front door face recognition system is now operational. It still has some small glitches and there are a few thing I'm planning to change but overall it works quite well. I can come to the front door and type in my code to unlock the door (only if it sees me). Recieved my first shipment for the hardware grant but unfortunately the ELWire box was damaged and broken into pieces😣.. But however was successful in fixing it just by using an alternate battery box and a bit of soldering😀... Thanks to @roshan @sampoder and @annlee_fores

Just received the google coral accelerator. Can’t wait to run tensorflow lite, and finally run the self driving car program without worrying about the RPi crashing!!! Thanks @sampoder for the hardware!
