Web development...💻Did soldering for the first time, successfully repaired my favourite BT speakerSecond day of debate championship! Won 2 more and lost 1 more. We finish with a 3-2 record! s/o to my teammate Sara for getting 11th best speaker got the very first version of the robot working - current cost is at $9.89 ($5.40 motor/chassis, $1.14 digispark, $2.70 lipo, $0.40 breadboard + jumpers, and $0.25 motor controller)! hoping to get the motor/chassis cost to $2.25 (rn it uses aluminium chassis and there are lot cheaper alternatives) and lipo to under $2, but hoping to switch to a more performant custom arduino which will replace the digispark+breadboard/jumpers, but will probably be a bit more expensive.:twitter: One very last update about GWC SIP! I'm not great at using twitter (ironic much?), so I actually just found out about this a couple minutes ago! #hubspot #Challenge2020🎸We made more progress on the _Summer of Making_ Smart Album Cover display… it finally listens to music playing in the room and gets the album cover! Here’s Tyler, The Creator’s *Flower Boy* and Drake’s _Nothing Was The Same_, which we think look exceptional 🌟. We’ve printed some of the parts for the frame (pictures on the GitHub Repo), and have to setup always listening and automatic volume adjustment, but after that it will be finished.🖼️ My first submission for the Hack Club Fine Arts Gala - my profile picture was in need of a re-draw for a while, since my style changed quite a bit over two years...but knowing me, I wasn't just gonna re-make it. Nah, I had to i n t e n s i f y it far beyond reason. Also, I enjoy harsh shadows. huhuhu
